She is What Deep Souls Crave

I remember as a little girl I was always asked the question, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” At the time, I quickly blurted out some career or another. Now when I reflect on it, I laugh. As a young girl, I limited myself to think that I could only do or be one thing. Today I know there are no limits to who I can be or what I can do. The only limitations are the ones I choose to place on myself. I do believe that as a woman, I can do and have it all.

I was born and raised in the community of Annotto Bay, St. Mary, Jamaica and I lived there until I was 18 years old. As a little girl, I often felt out of place or would often find that I didn’t fit in with the other children. And trust me, for a time, I tried really hard to. Until I came to the realization that being different was nothing to be ashamed of and not fitting in could be more of a blessing than a curse.

Fast forward to the present day, I have grown and changed and I am still growing and changing. I have accepted my uniqueness and instead of trying to fit in, I boldly stand out and I love myself more than ever. I’m not perfect and I will never be because perfection has never been my aim. Instead, I am focused on constant self-improvement and being a light to those around me through the way I live and through this site, She is What Deep Souls Crave.

She is What Deep Souls Crave was coined in 2015 as I believe it is an accurate description of who I am and who I will be. Being esoteric means it is highly likely that I will not be understood by many and not many will gravitate to my energy. My growth has taught me however, to be completely okay with this. I am here for those who vibrate on my frequency and absorb my light. As for those who don’t, my light will still shine for them to see.
